10 Best Tech Cities for Students

34 of the world’s Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) were analyzed by Business Fiber to find the best cities for tech students for 2020.

These cities have been analyzed on basis of the budget spent on tech-related research, the number of workers employed in professional, scientific, and technical sectors, technology and engineering courses offered by top universities in the country, and the number of tech companies present.

According to Business Fiber’s research, here the top 10 cities for tech students:

London with 2.4 million amount of tech/STEM employees, 509,000 amount of tech companies, 36 amount of tech universities, and 1.6% GDP spent on research.

Berlin with 2.4 million amount of tech/STEM employees, 209,000 amount of tech companies, 25 number of top universities, and 3.1% of GDP spent on research.

Jerusalem with 290,000 tech/STEM employees, 47,000 tech companies, 5 top universities and 4.8% of GDP spent on research.

Bern with 423,000 tech/STEM employees, N/A amount of tech companies, 5 top universities, and 3.4% of GDP spent on research.

Seoul with 1.1 million tech/STEM employees, 91000 tech companies, 17 top universities, and 4.3% of GDP spent on research.

Stockholm with 443,000 tech/STEM employees, 64,000 tech companies, 6 top universities, and 3.4% of GDP spent on research.

Paris with 1.6 million amount of tech/STEM employees, 136,000 amount of tech companies, 21 top universities, and 2.2% of GDP spent on research.

Canberra with 808,000 amount of tech/STEM employees, 97,000 amount of tech companies, 20 top universities, and 1.8% of GDP spent on research.

Rome with 1.5 million amount of tech/STEM employees, 117,000 amount of tech companies, 15 top universities, and 1.4% of GDP spent on research.

Tokyo with 2.4 million amount of tech/STEM employees, N/A amount of tech companies, 14 top universities, and 3.2% of GDP spent on research.

Managing director at parent company Brilliant British Ltd.
