3 Smartphones Got Completely Unnoticed In 2020

Top Smartphones July 2020

This 2020, despite all the complications that we have had to experience, will be remembered for being a “technologically” incredible year.

We have seen numerous spectacular high-end terminals such as the Samsung Galaxy S20, the iPhone 12, or the OnePlus, and we have also experienced how the Android mid-range has positioned itself as a great alternative for all those who want to have a more than decent smartphone without the need of spending a lot of money.

However, not everything has been pretty. 2020 leaves behind a few smartphones that have gone completely unnoticed. Some for being a total fiasco despite what they promised, others on the other hand and despite not being bad phones at all, they have been surpassed by the competition.

In this order of things, we leave you those that in our opinion, are the phones that in 2020 have gone completely unnoticed. Did you remember them?

Sony Xperia 5 II

Although Sony’s mobile division is not going through its best moments, the Japanese do not want to throw in the towel and keep trying.

Admittedly, they are really interesting phones and they hardly lack anything but incomprehensibly, their sales are not good. And honestly, it’s a shame.

The Sony Xperia 5 II is one of its latest terminals, a really nice device whose main claim is the photographic section.

Despite all the benefits that this terminal has, the truth is that the Xperia 5 II has passed without pain or glory during 2020 and not because it is a bad terminal, but simply because the competition has managed to sell itself better.

Meizu 17 Pro

Years ago Meizu was together with Xiaomi one of the best known and popular Chinese firms thanks to its high-quality terminals and good prices. Today, few remember her.

The Meizu 17 Pro is the latest top of the range from the company. A device with a spectacular design, with a really good front end and hardly any bezels. A marvel that we would have loved to see in these lands.

And unfortunately the Meizu 17 Pro has not left China so many of you will not even have found out about its existence. A pity because it also had a screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and we have always liked that.

Microsoft Surface Duo

This smartphone, tablet, or whatever it really is has not only really gone unnoticed among users but it has directly been a disappointment.

Microsoft’s return to Android gave a lot to talk about, especially since the Redmond firm dared with a device with a double screen unit through a hinge, something that on paper looked very good but in practice… Unfortunately, various failures with the keyboard, the camera, and even with the terminal software have caused the Surface Duo to be one of the biggest “bluffs” of 2020. Another time it will be Microsoft, sorry.
