45-watt adapter For Galaxy S22 May cost 50 euros

The new Samsung flagship Galaxy S22 could be unveiled in the coming weeks. As has become common in the meantime, the smartphone should be delivered without a power supply unit. The associated adapter can be purchased separately and could cost 50 euros.

45 watt charger listed at first retailer

Although Samsung has not yet announced a price or release date for the new fast charging adapter, the power supply is already available from the mail order company central point and Letsgodigital) offered. According to the online shop, the device will be delivered from January 31st. For the 45W charger, 50.28 euros should be due. This means that the adapter could be more expensive than expected. Prices of around 30 euros were previously suspected. It remains to be seen whether the price of 50 euros is actually the RRP.

The new 45-watt adapter has the model number EP-T451 and is already listed on the Dutch Samsung website. The power supply supports Super Fast Charging 2.0 and is said to be 30 percent more compact than its predecessor. The dimensions are 43.5 x 84.8 x 28 millimeters. It should also protect the device from overcharging and high temperatures. The charger is sold with a 1.8 meter USB-C cable. At first there is only a black version.

Galaxy S22 coming in February

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S22 lineup at a Galaxy Unpacked event on February 8th. The new flagship devices could be launched a short time later. According to entries from the first dealers, the different models should cost between 899 and 1499 euros depending on the equipment.
