The information comes from a tipster who shared the details on Weibo. According to the tipster, a custom Sony camera lens could be part of the Reno 12 series. Well, if this is true, then the upcoming series will offer significantly improved photographic capabilities. There are no exact details about the camera upgrade; however, we can expect an upgrade in image quality in contrast to the previous models.

Previously, several reports regarding the specs of the Reno 12 series emerged. These details suggest that the Reno 12 series will be powered by a MediaTek MTK 24M processor paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It will perhaps feature a 6.7-inch FHD 120Hz OLED display. The smartphone could showcase a 4-sided curved glass back. Concerning the camera setup, the Reno 12 series might be accompanied by a 50MP OIS + 8MP dual rear camera setup and a 50MP front camera. It will pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W fast charging.

When it comes to the Reno 12 Pro, the reports indicate that it will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset. It might feature the same display and design traits as the standard model.
