A rumor indicates that the Nothing Phone (2a) will be powered by Dimensity 7200
According to some recent pieces of information, Nothing is all set to introduce an affordable smartphone. Reportedly, the company will complement the already available Nothing Phone (2) with the upcoming smartphone. The upcoming smartphone has been labeled as Phone (2a) by several tipsters in the leaks. The Nothing Phone (2a) is said to launch during the MWC in Barcelona, scheduled for the end of February 2024.
Recently, a sketch of the upcoming smartphone surfaced online. The sketch shows a glimpse of a camera arrangement that is quite different from previous Nothing devices. This will make it easier for others to recognize Phone (2a) as the less expensive one, which is significant to some. However, the sketch does not portray many details about the upcoming smartphone.
Notably, the back side of this smartphone features three Glyph LED light strips. These light strips are way different from the ones found on the Phone (2). However, the overall appeal is quite nice. Since the upcoming smartphone is a mid-range device, it is reported to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC. The smartphone carries the A142 model number. It is rumored that Phone (2a) will feature a 6.7-inch display.
Like most, if not all, mid-rangers, this device’s success will depend on how well consumers believe its pricing matches its features. Maybe more information will become available shortly now that the leaks have begun.
