According to Google, a controversial app called ‘Absher’ is not breach of its terms and conditions.
‘Absher’ is a Saudi app which can be used by the Saudi men to track the women in the kingdom and prevent them from traveling.

Google has remained silent over the reports about the app, and told the US congresswoman that it wasn’t a breach of Google’s terms and conditions. The office of the congresswomen, Jackie Speier confirmed that a verbal conversation took place with Google after she complaint about the controversial app. Google, however, declined to comment.
Absher is easily available for both Apple and Android operating systems.
Absher also offers access to the government of Saudi Arabia services, and criticized by several human rights groups.
The Saudi app has been downloaded more than million times and has been available for several years.
