A US Apple ID is required to access the Apple Vision Pro App Store, Apple Music, and TV App

The Cupertino-based tech giant is all set to debut the Vision Pro headset in the US market. The headset will reportedly arrive in other regions before WWDC 2024. The device is now available for pre-orders. Given this aspect, several international users might be interested in purchasing the headset. However, there is a limitation, even if an international user accesses the Vision Pro headset.

A FAQ on Apple’s online store’s Vision Pro pre-order page states that several aspects of the experience will be different from those of a customer in the United States. English is the only language supported on Vision Pro. In order to purchase content on Apple Music and TV app, users must have a US Apple ID. The same is the case for the App Store. Some apps, content, and features might be unavailable due to licensing and region-based restrictions. Only US users can get Apple Support. Only prescriptions provided by American eye care specialists will be accepted by ZEISS for consumers in need of vision correction, and only American addresses will be shipped.

According to Apple, the spatial computing headset is intended for use by American consumers on their travels, at work, and at home. “We look forward to introducing ‌Apple Vision Pro‌ to more regions later this year,” states the company. After the US, Canada and the UK will be the first markets to receive the headset. Pre-orders for the Vision Pro will begin shipping to customers in the United States on Friday, February 2.
