Amazon is now giving you 23 games in May 2025

Amazon Prime Gaming offers a total of 23 free games in May, including many Star Wars titles, Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus, Amnesia: Rebirth. The highlights are distributed in waves throughout the month. We show you the complete list.

Free game flood for Prime subscribers

Amazon Prime Gaming has presented its range of games for May 2025, which includes a total of 23 free titles. The games are activated in several waves over the month and, depending on the title, can be activated via various platforms such as GOG, the Epic Games Store, the Amazon Games app or the Microsoft Store. The past star Wars Day (May the 4th) has been particularly available since May 1st “Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds Saga” and “Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga”. Both titles can be redeemed via GOG. The stealth game “Styx: Master of Shadows” and the satirical stock market simulation “The Invisible Hand” are also directly available.

Top -class titles follow in the course of the month

From May 8, Prime members can claim the Digital Deluxe Edition of “Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus” for PC and Xbox. The action game developed by Machinegames continues the alternative history story, in which players fight as a BJ Blazkowicz against an America controlled by Nazis. The title published in 2017 was praised for its intensive single player campaign and the narrative depth.

At the same time, the horror classic “Amnesia: Rebirth”, the 90s internet simulator “Hypnospace Outlaw” and the puzzle game “Doors-Paradox”. In the middle of the month, five more titles will follow on May 15, including “Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell”, “Endless Legend Definitive Edition”, “Golf with your Friends”, “Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen 2” and the relaxed postbot adventure “Mail Time”.

Classics and indie pearls at the end of the month

The last two May weeks bring other highlights such as the Stealth classic “Thief 2: The Metal Age”, the action role-playing game “Fate”, “Everdream Valley”, “Chessarama” and “The Lost Ashford Ring”. Thief 2, originally published by Looking Glass Studios in 2000, is considered the milestone of the stealth genre and relies on atmospheric gameplay instead of direct confrontation.

The end of the end of May “Samurai Bringer”, “Trinity Fusion”, “Masterplan Tycoon”, “Liberté” and “Jennifer Wilde Unlikely Revolutionaries”. Trinity Fusion is a roguelite action platform that players have to travel through three parallel realities and master various combat styles. As with all Prime gaming offers: once claimed games remain permanently in the possession of the users, even if the Prime membership is later terminated. The games can be redeemed via the corresponding platforms, whereby most codes have to be activated via GOG.

Streaming offer on Amazon Luna

In addition to the permanently stressable games, Amazon offers access to other titles for Prime members via the cloud gaming service Luna. Subscribers were able to stream for the Star Wars Day on May 4th on May 4 for 24 hours. By May 8th, “Lego Star Wars 3: The Clone Wars” and “Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga” are also available.

Other Luna titles in May “Death Beaching Director’s Cut”, “Lawn Mowing Simulator: Landmark Edition”, various Fortnite modes and the game-of-the-year editions of “Fallout 3” and “Fallout: New Vegas”. Luna, Amazon’s Cloud Gaming Service, was launched in 2020 and enables playing without high-performance hardware, as the games run on Amazon’s servers and are transmitted by stream.
