Amazon Prime Shows The First Teaser Of ‘The Power’ Sci-Fi Series
In the new Amazon series The Power, something extraordinary happens, because suddenly young women all over the world develop truly electrifying superpowers – with serious consequences for all of humanity. Now there is the first teaser trailer, which prepares us for the upcoming launch.
The Power is based on a 2016 novel of the same name by British author Naomi Alderman. That’s what it’s about: For apparently unknown reasons, teenage girls suddenly develop the ability to injure or even kill other people with an electric shock. Men, on the other hand, miss out on this step in evolution, and so the balance of power in the world begins to reverse completely.
The Power features a variety of characters in a variety of locations, including the United States, London, Nigeria, and Eastern Europe. The series will start on March 31, 2023, on Amazon Prime Video.
