Android 14 QPR is breaking Google Wallet

Many Android users use Google Wallet as their preferred payment method. If you’re one of those individuals, you may want to hold off on the upcoming Android upgrade. The Android 14 QPR 1, according to 9To5Google, is essentially breaking Google Wallet.

Google is currently preparing to make available to the public the stable version of Android 14. Unfortunately, there has been a delay in the rollout. However, early October is when it is reportedly arriving. The Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro will conveniently be introduced in early October. Google may decide to introduce Android 14 along with its most recent Pixel phones, but we don’t know for sure.

Android 14 QPR might be breaking Google wallet

When you test out an operating system’s beta version, things like these frequently occur. You face the chance of an app or service ceasing to function when you download a new beta version. This appears to be the case when it comes to Google Wallet with the most recent Android 14 beta release.

Several users of the most recent software, like Ben Schoon of 9To5Google, have encountered a popup when attempting to use the program. Your device must be up to standard in terms of security if you wish to utilize Google Wallet. The app will restrict access if your software isn’t secure enough.

People using Android 14 QPR 1 are seeing this. The app falsely claims that the company’s software isn’t secure enough. Therefore, you’re out of luck if you’re used to making contactless payments.

It appears that Google is not yet aware of this problem at this time. You can expect that many people will report it online if it’s a big problem. We anticipate that Reddit and other sites like that will be inundated with complaints. But for the time being, you’ll have to wait for the business to provide a solution.
