Apple Confirms iOS 15 Update Release Date

At the iPhone 13 event, Apple has now also revealed when the major update to iOS 15 will be released. You won’t have to wait long, the starting shot will be given in the coming week.

From September 20, Apple will release the major feature update iOS 15 – iPadOS 15 and WatchOS 8 will also start at the same time. The iPhone company officially confirmed this today. The update for the iPhone will bring a multitude of improvements and a long list of new features. As in the past, Apple makes a difference as to which iPhones will receive which features – not all innovations will be usable on all devices.

In addition, Apple has some innovations only available for users in the USA, for example, the map app with 3D navigation and AR support.

What’s new

We had already presented the most important innovations in iOS 15 in advance in a few articles. This includes the new “Focus” app, automatic optical character recognition via the camera app called “Live Text”, new FaceTime options, the wallet with new key options, the completely renewed Spotlight search, custom notifications, and much more. The update to iOS 15 is definitely free and can be downloaded from the release date of September 20, 2021. Anyone who was able to use iOS 14 will also be able to update to iOS 15.
