Apple iPhone 12 Pro Models Have Higher Demand Than Expected

Apple has done everything right again with the new iPhone and iPad models : The demand for the iPhone 12 Pro models in particular is huge, and according to analysts, it is much greater than expected. That comes from a media report, there are no figures from Apple.

At first there were many question marks as to whether Apple could hit the bull’s eye again this year with the new iPhone models. However, these doubts were mainly due to the corona pandemic. For a long time, it was not clear whether Apple could deliver as planned, and whether the mood to buy in this crisis year is the same as in previous years. In the months leading up to the launch, there were a number of rumors that there would be difficulties in the supply chain that could affect the iPhone launch this year.

Nothing of that has come true – to all appearances at least – now. But now the renowned Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has spoken out (via Neowin ). According to Kuo, there is generally more demand than expected for newly introduced Apple products.

Cheap versions are not that popular

Incidentally, this not only applies to all iPhone 12 Pro versions, but also to the new iPad Air. There is only one exception. The analyst assumes that the demand for the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max will offset the lower demand for the iPhone 12 and 12 mini, according to Kuo. Apple has already reacted and adjusted the production figures accordingly. Kuo has this information directly from the Apple partners, who manufacture the devices to order primarily in China.

It also looks good with the M1 Macs

The new M1-chip Macs are also reportedly showing higher demand than originally expected. The price and the first user reports have contributed a lot to Apple convincing its users to switch to the first ARM-based Apple processor now.
