Apple has confirmed rumors about the upcoming launch of a whole range of new Macs. Various new MacBook and Mac models will apparently be presented next week, as Apple promised a “week of announcements”. Apple
Apple is planning an entire armada of M4-based Macs
Shortly after Qualcomm made the first indications of a massive performance increase in the next generation of its new ARM processors for PCs and Intel launched a new notebook platform with “Lunar Lake”, Apple is putting the new chips in terms of performance M4 series.
Like Greg Joswiak, Apple’s marketing chief, in one Social media posting announced that they have “an exciting week” ahead of them when it comes to new products from their company. The start will be made on Monday morning, Joswiak continued. This certainly means Monday morning according to US West Coast time, i.e. probably around 7 p.m. German time.
An official teaser video published by Joswiak, in which a classic Macintosh logo can be seen, suggests that it will be about the Mac or MacBook (Pro). In fact, after various leaks, it is now quite clear what Apple wants to present next week. In the last few weeks, videos have appeared showing a new entry-level model in the Apple MacBook Pro series with an Apple M4 doing its job.
According to reports from well-informed sources, this will likely be joined by other new MacBook Pro models with Apple M4 Max and M4 Pro platforms. There will probably also be new editions of the Apple iMac, also updated with the Apple M4, as well as a new, significantly shrunken Apple Mac Mini. According to previous reports, its housing will be significantly smaller than all previous models, while five USB-C ports will ensure sufficient connectivity.
