Just recently, the Cupertino-based tech firm rolled out the first version of the visionOS software. It has been introduced as visionOS 1.0 Developer Beta. The beta’s release coincides with Apple’s announcement of the release of the visionOS software development kit (SDK), which will enable outside developers to create apps for the Vision Pro headset.
Developers can access the SDK via the Xcode 15 beta 2. Do note that the developers don’t have access to the Vision Por as yet however, the company claims that they will be given access to the product by next month. As per some recent pieces of information, the company will open several developer labs by next month. The labs will be launched in selected countries around the globe. It will help the developers to apply for development kits in order to test apps directly on Vision Pro.
One thing to notice here is that the visionOS 1.0 is not available for download on headsets for the general public. It is only accessible to company employees. The software could point at surprising features of the device.
Users can experience different Environments in VisionOS
Users can activate the environment of their choice with the Vision Pro headset. There are several environments available in the visionOS. With the new visionOS updates, the company has added some new features. The environments that can be experienced include the sky, the moon, mount hood, lake Vrangla, Yosemite, Joshua tree, beach, white sands, winter light, fall light, summer light, spring light, and Haleakala.
Users of Vision Pro will have the option to enter a virtual space by spinning the Digital Crown to block out the outside world. The background of several activities, like utilizing applications, making calls, and viewing films, can be an environment.
