Apple MacBook Air with M2 chip is scheduled to ship from July 15

The new edition of the MacBook Air, presented on the occasion of WWDC 2022, is in the starting blocks. Compared to retail sources MacRumors confirm, that Apple should start the pre-order phase on July 8 and ship the MacOS laptop to the first customers on July 15. An official confirmation from the manufacturer is still pending. It is also unclear whether a decision will be made in Cupertino for a global parallel start or whether the information only applies to the US market.
Surcharges for SSD and RAM are still high

Two Thunderbolt / USB 4 ports, audio jacks, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, a 1080p camera, and the MagSafe 3 magnetic power cord connector are also part of the standard equipment. As for the battery, the manufacturer states a battery life of up to 18 hours when playing movies within the Apple TV app. Wireless surfing, on the other hand, should be possible for up to 15 hours.
