Apple might launch foldable iPhone sooner than we expect

There have been long-running rumors that Apple is developing a foldable iPhone. Although earlier reports indicated that the corporation intended to release the smartphone by 2027, it now looks as though Apple may be moving more quickly. According to a fresh claim, Apple has chosen to push back the possible release date by around a year. It is now predicted that the foldable iPhone will be available by 2026.

Apple may release its foldable iPhone in 2026

As of right now, it’s unknown which form factor Apple is thinking of using for the foldable iPhone, a clamshell like the Galaxy Z Flip or a book-style folding like the Galaxy Z Fold. Apple appears to be the owner of patents for both, so it does have options. Considering that the firm has a history of keeping quiet about new products, not much has been reported about the foldable iPhones. Although there are enough stories to suggest that they might be in the works, it hasn’t even acknowledged their existence.

It’s another story entirely whether or not Apple decides to release them. After investing billions of dollars and working on the project for almost ten years, the corporation finally gave up on the automobile project. Therefore, it’s possible that Apple will determine that foldable don’t fit with its overall goal and will therefore abandon the project.

Even if the foldable iPhones are released by 2026, Samsung’s foldable phones, which would have reached their ninth generation by then, will still be far ahead of Apple’s initial foldable phone offering.
