Apple Might Launch Larger iPad Pro 14 and 16 inches

Apple is working on bigger iPads, according to the rumor mill. That would be logical because with iPadOS 15 the group offers even more powerful tools for multitasking and generally for efficient work on the iPad – the Mac could often be left off.

At least that’s what Bloomberg’s Sunday newsletter says. Bloomberg author Mark Gurman analyzed some rumors about Apple and compared them with the facts already available. So he now comes to the conclusion that Apple should make a larger iPad available to its customers as soon as possible in order to be able to take full advantage of all the new functions and advantages of iPadOS 15.

The iPad is already “good enough” to use for daily work instead of a Mac. However, the iPad is currently not available over 12.9 inches – to be a good replacement for a work PC, 14 and 16 inches would be desirable sizes.

Apple Working On Larger iPads

“The 12.9-inch display is far too small for someone who is used to a 16-inch MacBook Pro,” writes Gurman and adds: “And I’m not the only one who thinks like this: I’ve heard that Apple is having engineers and designers working on bigger iPads that won’t hit stores for a few years at the earliest. ” It is unlikely to hit the market next year – Apple is currently focusing on a revamped iPad Pro in the known sizes for 2022.

“But a large iPad would be the perfect device for a lot of people, I included, and it would push the boundaries between tablet and laptop, “says Gurman. Nevertheless, it is likely that Apple will first launch a new iPad mini and then perhaps only in 2023 an iPad “Max”.
