Apple Music Classical Launches on the Web

Apple Music Classical has officially expanded its reach and is now accessible on the web! You can visit classical.music.apple.com to enjoy your favorite classical music straight from your browser.

A Quick Recap of Apple Music Classical

Launched in March 2023, Apple Music Classical has been a game-changer for classical music lovers worldwide. With a standard Apple Music subscription, users can stream over five million classical tracks without paying extra. The service is built on Primephonic, a classical music streaming platform Apple acquired in 2021, making it a unique and robust offering for classical music enthusiasts.

Exclusive Celebratory Releases

To mark Apple Music Classical’s web launch, Apple has announced an exclusive release—a new recording of Julius Eastman’s Symphony No. 2 and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 2. Conducted by Franz Welser-Möst and performed by the Cleveland Orchestra, this exclusive will be available only on Apple Music Classical for the next six weeks. Don’t miss it!

Availability Across Platforms

Beyond the web, Apple Music Classical is available as an app on iPhone, iPad, and Android devices. It even added CarPlay support last year! However, there’s still no dedicated Mac app—hopefully, that’s in the pipeline.

Head over to classical.music.apple.com and explore the world of classical music like never before!
