Apple organizes WWDC for AI employee event

The AI race is continued at the full pace. Several companies are trying hard to lead the competition. In this perspective, the tech company Apple organized an employee-only artificial intelligence summit. It was held as an in-person event at Steve Jobs Theater. A new report from Blomberg sheds light on the details of this event.

The AI Summit by Apple is an annual event. It is named WWDC for AI. Previously, the event was only open to Apple employees. However, this year, the company changed its strategy after the pandemic and organized the event at Steve Jobs Theater. Furthermore, the event was live-streamed for employees who couldn’t join the event in person.

ChatGPT is evolving day by day. Companies like Google and Microsoft are working hard to announce new strategies for adopting AI. For these reasons, the annual summit by Apple was a matter of concern. Mark Gurman notes in his latest edition of the Power On newsletter that the AI chief of Apple mentioned that machine learning is progressing day by day. But our company definitely has the talent in the respective field at the forefront. Besides this statement, Gurman indicates that he has no idea about any big announcements for users. neither the company has unveiled anything to combat Bing or ChatGPT.

Well, this is not surprising at all. Perhaps the company is saving the big announcements for the WWDC in June. The AI summit was specifically designed for employees. It considered the roadmaps and strategies that should be adopted instead of the specific feature announcements.
