Apple plans to reveal its Q2 2023 earnings on May 4 before WWDC

Tech company Apple recently announced that the earning report for Q2 2023 will be shared on May 4. Similar to the previous years the company will publish the earning report and organize a conference call with investors and analysts to share more details.

The Q2 2023 earning report includes the first three months i.e., January, February, and March. During the last quarter, the company earned $29.99 billion as a profit with $117.15 billion in revenue. As per reports, it was a 5% decrease in revenue and 13% in total income in contrast to the one recorded in the same quarter of the year 2021.

During Q1 2023, the company had to combat several supply restraints. For this reason, the new flagship series smartphones the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max were affected. In February, the CEO of the company reported to investors that the reason behind less revenue was the issues in the supply chain. Furthermore, Tim Cook told the investors that during the last quarter, the number of first-time buyers of Apple Watch has increased significantly.

Well, the company has not provided official guidance for Q2 2023. Whereas Apple will publish its second-quarter earnings for 2023 just ahead of WWDC 2023 during which the company might unveil its next big product i.e., a mixed-reality headset. As per reports, Apple CEO Tim Cook and CFO Luca Maestri will hold a call conference to provide details as well as answer questions. The report will be published thirty minutes before the call.
