Apple Products Plans For 2025

Apple is planning a major update to its product range for 2025. In addition to a revised iPhone SE and new iPads, an innovative smart home device is also set to come onto the market. The tech group also wants to catch up in the AI area.

Apple’s ambitious plans for 2025

Apple is facing an eventful year in 2025. The tech group from Cupertino is planning a large number of new products and revisions and this should start in the spring of the year. These include, among other things, a completely renovated iPhone SE and innovations in the smart home area. A highlight of the spring lineup is expected to be the new iPhone SE.

Apple’s budget smartphone is set to lose the home button and switch to a more modern design with Face ID. It will also be equipped with the new Apple Intelligence System, which suggests a more powerful chip and more RAM. However, these upgrades could lead to a slightly higher starting price.

iPad series gets performance boost

The iPad family can also look forward to innovations. Like Mark Gurman in his newsletter Power On for and on Bloomberg reported (and summarized and confirmed various reports from the past few weeks), the entry-level model and the iPad Air will receive updated processors, probably the A17 Pro or even the M4 chip. Not only would this increase performance, but it would also enable support for Apple Intelligence. However, the design changes for these models are likely to be minimal, says the Apple expert.

Apple is also planning to introduce a completely new smart home device, which has also already been reported in various leaks. This should be equipped with an approximately 7-inch screen and serve as a central control unit for the networked home. It can be wall-mounted or placed on a surface and is intended to manage household tasks, run apps and enable video calls.

AI in focus

A particular focus in 2025 will be on the further development of artificial intelligence. Apple wants to catch up in the AI race with its Apple Intelligence System and plans to integrate this technology into numerous products. This could not only expand the functionality of the devices, but also strengthen Apple’s position against competitors such as Google and Microsoft.

In addition to the products mentioned, Apple is working on other projects. These include updated versions of the MacBook Air, new Apple Watch models and revised iPhone variants. There are rumors about a possible iPhone 17 Air, which could set new standards in terms of design as the thinnest iPhone variant.
