Apple Releases New Firmware Update for AirPods Max

Apple has rolled out a new firmware update for the Lightning version of the AirPods Max. This update brings the firmware to version 6F25, replacing the previous version, 6F21.

While Apple hasn’t shared specific details about what’s included, updates for older models like this one typically address bugs and make small performance improvements.

Wondering how to update your AirPods Max? It’s simple:

  1. Keep your AirPods Max within Bluetooth range of your iPhone, iPad, or Mac.
  2. Make sure your device is connected to Wi-Fi.
  3. Plug in your AirPods Max to charge.

The update process can take up to 30 minutes, so patience is key.

To check your firmware version, go to Settings > Bluetooth, then tap the info (i) button next to your AirPods Max when connected to your device.
