Apple has made a revised version available after the first release candidate for iOS 15.2. The new preview update is currently only available for developers. It won’t be long until the final approval for all users.
Just a few days ago we reported that Apple had already published a release candidate for iOS 15.2 and macOS 12.1. Now the next candidate follows with further bug fixes. As far as is known, the new update only came out with adjustments for the iPhone 13 generation and is only available for these models AppleInsider reports. So the beta test is nearing its end. Apple is on the home stretch for the completion of iOS 15.2. One of the most important changes for iOS 15.2 is the new Privacy Report app. In this report, Apple shows how often apps have accessed sensitive personal data such as location, photos, camera, microphone, and contacts in the last seven days. It is also shown which actions are running in the background and whether an app is “calling home” or which domains the app is contacting.
Little is known about the changes since the last beta version, but nothing else is likely to have been changed apart from bug fixes. The build number changes from 19C56 to 19C57 on iOS.
The new update is now available as an update. Registered users simply get the new version as an over-the-air update. Those who have not yet registered for the beta program can do so and join the beta phase. Participation is free and requires a one-time registration for the program at https://beta.apple.com/sp/en/betaprogram from the correspondingly supported device. The Apple ID is required for this.
Once you have registered, you will automatically receive new beta versions as with any other update. One should keep in mind, however, that as with any beta version, unforeseen problems could arise. Apple, therefore, warns with each new round in the beta test that it is better not to be a Productive iPhone but should use a second device for the tests.
