Apple shifts backwards logo down

Apple apparently plans an unusual design change for the iPhone 17 Pro: the iconic Apple logo is to be placed significantly lower on the back. Magsafe magnet ring also gets a new design, at least if you believe leaks.
Radical design change planned
The iPhone 17 Pro is expected for September 2025 and, if you believe the current rumors or leaks, should be given several significant design changes. One of the most striking changes affects the iconic Apple logo on the back of the device. This should be positioned significantly lower than with current iPhone models. New leaks show what the shifted logo could look like.
The iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max can be seen in transparent covers on pictures. The Apple logo no longer sits in the middle of the device, but was moved down. This design change is directly related to another new element: the revised camera module. How Macrumors Coating on the well-known Leaker Majin Bu, the Apple logo will now be placed in the middle of a glass area below the camera module.
This glass area is necessary because the iPhone 17 Pro is supposed to receive an aluminum frame that also encloses the new camera module. However, a glass area is required for wireless charging and MAGSAFE functionality.
Horizontal camera bar
The camera of the iPhone 17 Pro is said to be completely redesigned, which (according to the rumor mill) has been stuck for several weeks. Instead of the square camera module in the upper left corner (as with the previous iPhones), an elongated camera label is to be implemented, which extends over the entire width of the device. This horizontal camera bar is supposed to house three lenses and is reminiscent of the design of the iPad Pro.
Magsafe ring is adapted
The shift of the logo also has an impact on the design of the Magsafe magnetic ring. In the case of transparent covers, the circular magnetic ring would cover the newly positioned Apple logo. To avoid this, Apple will apparently modify the Magsafe magnet ring and provide recess so that the logo remains visible. In addition to these design changes, other innovations await us at the iPhone 17 Pro.
According to the sources, the device will be equipped with the new A19 Pro-Chip and will have twelve GB RAM. The camera receives a comprehensive upgrade with a 48 megapixel telecamera, an improvement compared to the current twelve megapixel telecamera. The front camera is also to be upgraded to 24 megapixels. In addition, the iPhone 17 Pro is to be equipped with an improved cooling system in order to optimize the heat discharge.
It is speculated that Apple could implement a steam chamber cooling (“Vapor Chamber”) in order to improve performance in demanding tasks. This technology is already used in gaming smartphones and high-end android devices.
