The ASUS ZenFone 7 series was launched around six months ago and is powered with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC (Snapdragon 865 Plus on the Pro variant), 6/8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 128/256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a lot more. The smartphone has been a gem for the company. But it was getting old since it was still running Android 10 with ZenUI 7. But not anymore.
Within just six months, ASUS decided to roll out the Android 11 update for the flagship. According to a recent post from the company, the first stable build of Android 11 is now rolling out to both the ZenFone 7 and the ZenFone 7 Pro in Taiwan. The updated version numberĀ of the OS is 30.40.30.93, which comes with all the obvious aesthetic and functional changes introduced in Android 11, along with a handful of Zen UI-specific changes.
