Augere Pakistan (QUBEE) Launches LTE/4G Services In 11 Cities
Augere Pakistan (QUBEE) becomes the first company initiated corporate LTE/4G services for corporate sector covering 11 cities of Pakistan.
Currently LTE/4G service is only exclusive to mobile phones, Zong, Warid and Telenor provides LTE services to individual mobile users however, there are some corporate packages available but that are again for mobile users only. Zong 4G/LTE service is the most popular service in Pakistan in terms of quality, speed and coverage.
Augere Pakistan has made the difference by offering 4G LTE services to corporate sector. Small, medium and large organizations would receive uninterrupted high-speed LTE connectivity to run their organizational systems smoothly. Augere has planned Premium corporate LTE for businesses which has the potential to provide speeds up to 100Mbps per subscriber. In the first phase of their development Augere is planning to invest 10 million USD for infrastructure and network development.
Initially 11 cities will receive this LTE service including; Peshawar, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Quetta, Faisalabad, Sialkot, Multan, Sargodha, Gunjanwala, Gujrat and Rahim Yar Khan. The company also plans to launch WIMAX network for Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi and Rawalpindi by the end of 2017.
The current situation in Islamabad and Rawalpindi is that small and medium organizations have only two options of corporate internet, PTCL and NayaTeL, both have their pros and cons. PTCL’s services are not up to mark as far as fast dynamic IT sector is concerned whereas NayaTel provides much better services with higher costs. The launch of Augere will develop healthy competition between organizations resulting in cost-effective and improved services which is the crux of future growth of organizations.
