Australia wants to discuss encrypted messages in the upcoming meeting held under “Five Eyes”

In a recent news, Australia says that she is going to join four other big brains and power to solve the mystery of encrypted messages. “Five Eyes”, which is an intelligence network is the idea behind unveiling terrorists’ activities in the world.

Australia, the USA, the UK, Canada, and New Zealand are five of the member of this global intelligence network. These five countries will soon meet up in Ottawa, Canada next week to find better ways of solving the encrypted messages.

Virgin Media Directs Password Change Over Hacking Threat

Australian Attorney-General Senator Brandis recently said:

I will raise the need to address ongoing challenges posed by terrorists and criminals using encryption

These discussions will focus on the need to cooperate with service providers to ensure reasonable assistance is provided to law enforcement and security agencies

Unfortunately, social networking giants like Facebook and Apple, who owns encrypted messaging service have been uncooperative with the governments in providing data which might lead to the safety of the people by decoding the encrypted messages sent by terrorist agencies.

Encrypted messages might help reduce terrorism across the globe. And Australia is darn ready to meet its fellow partners in Canada at the Five Eyes meeting next week.
