Before launch, retail posters revealed the Redmi A3’s image and specifications

Xiaomi is all set to announce another smartphone under its Redmi brand. Reportedly, the upcoming Redmi A3 will be a successor to the Redmi A2. According to reports, the upcoming device will feature significant upgrades in both design and performance. As of now, we have received some information regarding the specs of the upcoming Redmi A3, since the device was listed on several African retail outlets.

Design and Display of Redmi A3

According to the listings, the Redmi A3 has a significantly different design from its predecessor. With its glass back and new circular camera module, it has an appearance that is similar to the Realme 11 Pro series. It features a 6.71-inch LCD display with HD+ resolution. The display features a refresh rate of 90Hz and 400 nits of peak brightness. Accordingly, the new smartphone will be available in three color options, including Black, Blue, and Forest Green.

Other specifications of Redmi A3

The smartphone features a 13MP primary camera on the rear, whereas an 8MP camera can be found on the front end of the display. It packs a 5000mAh battery unit with support for 10W charging. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek processor. It is paired with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and an additional 4GB of virtual RAM. It comes with 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage that can be expanded via a separate microSD card slot. It runs on Android 13 (Go Edition). It is a customized version of Android that offers efficient performance on budget smartphones.

Other connectivity features of the Redmi A3 include support for WiFi 2.4GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, various satellite navigation systems, dual-SIM, and 4G. it includes a USB Type-C port for charging and a 3.5mm audio jack.
