Before the 2024 WWDC, Apple Vision Pro will launch globally

According to some recent pieces of information, the Vision Pro headset will be available on the international market before WWDC 2024. The information comes from analyst Ming Chi-Kuo. Kuo claimed in a Medium post that the company will share new details about VisionOS with developers on a global scale at its WWDC 2024. For this reason, the company must debut the product in the international market before the event.

It seems that if the headset was made accessible globally before WWDC, Apple would be able to advance a “global development ecosystem” for VisionOS. In addition to this, Kuo asserts that initially the device will be launched in the US market only because of the limited supply. In this way, Apple has some time to make necessary changes to the software before releasing it to other markets. Furthermore, it is a reflection of the strategy to streamline the sales process before launching the product on a global scale. The product will be available for sale in other markets as soon as these issues are resolved.

Since 2007, the company has conducted its WWDC event every year in June. Possibly the company will stick to the same schedule this year too. Early in January, Mark Gurman claimed that Vision Pro would soon launch in other markets. Perhaps the company will launch the product in the UK, Canada, and China in the next phase.

When the Vision Pro is sold outside of the US, it is unclear how much supply will be accessible in other countries. The headset is anticipated to sell out rapidly upon its launch in the United States, with just 80,000 units anticipated to be available. As a result, there may be significant delays in shipment.
