A technology, Lightning protocol, that should be able to make Bitcoin transactions so much quicker, reached version 1.0 on Wednesday. ACINQ, Blockstream and Lightning Labs are the three companies which are working on “Lightning protocol”, said they have successfully tested in on actual Bitcoin transactions.
