Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 New Makarov trailer released

Yesterday Activision unveiled the next Call of Duty: This will (once again) be called Modern Warfare 3 and will tie directly to the predecessor from last year. A new trailer was released today that introduces the villain Makarov in more detail.

Admittedly, it’s not a big surprise: since yesterday’s announcement, it’s also officially clear that the reboot of the Modern Warfare series is already going into the third round this year. Already on November 10, 2023, the time has come. As a reminder: The first reboot was released in 2019, and Modern Warfare 2 followed in 2022.

The story will then of course tie in with the end of Modern Warfare 2 and revolve around the fight against Vladimir Makarov. This is now also the focus of the latest trailer, which describes the villain as the “ultimate threat”. Otherwise, the video, unfortunately, doesn’t reveal much that’s new about the game, but this should change soon.

A full reveal of the game was announced for August 17th. By then at the latest, there should be more detailed information about the planned innovations and game content as well as the first gameplay.
