*Strictly for females only.*

It was in December last year when Careem introduced the initiative to include women drivers in Pakistan. This was quite a unique start by Careem in a nation where women employers are only 22% of the workers.

This was quite a new idea that women drive the taxi and pick up both male and female customers. Now Careem is again promoting its female captain program and encouraging women to become part of Careem.

Women are emerging in all fields in Pakistan but even in this digital age, we don’t see many women taxi drivers. Careem taking a bold step and empowering Pakistani female in the field of driving is something we should all be proud of.
