On Tuesday, Capital Development Authority (CDA) announced a new system for property taxpayers of Islamabad. This new system would allow property taxpayers to submit their annual taxes through the online system of Muslim Commercial Bank (MCB).
Hiring an agent or standing in queues is crucial many times. People often have to wait long for their turn and this often results in a chaos. To handle such a position, CDA is on the verge to settle its payment process using the latest technologies.
When rolling out the news, a spokesperson from each party appreciated the move and told that the citizens would be at ease to deposit their property taxes and water and allied bills through the online system of MCB. And, there would be no additional charges to use this facility.
The online system would be carried through an Android mobile app. The app would guide the nearby locations to deposit the taxes and other bills.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed by Ali Naqvi, the digital marketing head of MCB, DG Admin Nadeem Akbar Mali, and DD Revenue Malik Altaf.
The spokesperson also briefed about the upcoming projects to facilitate the citizens. Some are at the initial phases while some would be rolled out soon.
