Chinese Phones Beat Apple And Samsung In China-Report

There was a time Apple was one of the favorite phone manufacturers in China, not anymore the report reveals

Foreign brands are struggling in Chinese market to grab the number one position but it becomes harder and harder for them as Chinese manufacturers are hitting the nail right in the head.

According to the report published by IDC and Counterpoint Technology Market Research Apple and Samsung dropped down from the top two positions in the market. The competitors and top performers are clearly Huawei, Oppo and Vivo getting hot on their heels.

Apple slips to fourth position in top 10 selling brands in China and Samsung secures sixth position. Apple has been consistently maintaining the position in the top ten hot selling brands in Chinese market since long, currently Apple is facing severe unexpected decline in sales, this is not due to Apple has gone unpopular among masses, the fact is other smartphone manufacturers are sprinting much harder to win the race. Apple CEO Tim Cook reasoned the sales decline due to a pause between unveiling the next Apple iPhone.

Samsung either isn’t doing well in China, South Korean giant however launched Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 plus, comes in at number 6 on the list, Samsung however, maintains first position in India and holds 26% of market share.

Global PR director of Huawei Consumer Business Group proudly made a statement saying that, “The growing demand of Huawei phones makes us to pursue innovation in both technology and design”
