Cloudflare expands its datacenters in Pakistan including other cities

Cloudflare is a popular company in Content Delivery Network (CDN) category which provides cloud services to the websites, web applications and online contents in order to deliver best experience to the users.

Cloudflare in Pakistan was not available earlier; however, the company has announced last month that it has expanded its data centres to 165 cities across the globe adding 10 more cities in its global network.

Cloudflare has opened its data centers in Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore covering the most urbanized cities of Pakistan.

According to Cloudflare the data centers have significantly reduced latency in Pakistan which will further be improved with the time being, the company said, “We are already seeing latency per request decrease by over 3x and as much as 150ms, and expect this to further improve as we tune routing for all our customers. Latency from PTCL to Cloudflare customers reduces by over 3x across Pakistan.”.

Apart from Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore the company has also expanded its network to 7 more cities in December including Charlotte and Columbus in the United States, Manama in Bahrain, St. Petersburg in Russia, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam, and Sainte-Marie Reunion in France.
