CLX launches CLX Hathor: a gaming desktop having two PCs in a single casing

CLX is a system integrator. It built custom-made PCs. The PCs are mainly focused on gaming having dedicated parts selected by customers. Today CLX declared the release of one of the most exceptional desktop PCs in the market. CLX is referring to this PC as a duo gaming PC. It is designed as a machine. It can be used both for gaming as well as streaming. It eliminates the requirement for two separate computers.

The new model is known as the CLX Hathor. It is basically a tower desktop PC having a second PC inside it. It is based on the design provided by the Intel NUC 12 Extreme Compute Element.

The first PC

It is similar to a standard desktop PC. It has Intel Core desktop processors. The processor details are as follows:

  • a Core i9-13900K with 24 cores and 32 threads
  • Nvidia GeForce RTTX 40 series graphics, or
  • Intel Arc 7 series graphics

It offers around 64GB of RAM. In addition to this, the users are provided with options to upgrade network connectivity and storage, and you can even select the power supply cables, cooler, thermal compound, and others.

The second PC

The most intriguing part of this desktop PC is a second PC inside a similar casing. It is based on Intel NUC 12 Extreme Compute Element. It is essentially a mini PC. It is so small that it can be fitted inside the whole tower case along with the main components of the PC. The Compute Element has the Intel Core i9-12900 processor. Initially, it offers 64GB of RAM. But it has its own connectivity and storage as well which comprises 10Gb Ethernet and other ports. It is introduced as a complimentary system used for streaming games. However, the machine controls the actual gaming.

Besides these features, a lot of cooling is provided with this system. It has a liquid cooler and plenty of fans on all faces of the case. Thus, allowing the air to circulate through the chassis. Thus, keeping both PCs working smoothly. Both systems utilize the same power supply. The machine is provided with around 1600W power supply.

Though, fitting two computers in a single case is not cheap. The CLX Hathor is priced at a whopping $3,999. However, note that this price doesn’t include elements like a discrete GPU for the main PC. You can check for more details about CLX Hathor on the company’s website.
