Coming soon from Nokia is the rugged phone known as the Nokia XR21

A few days ago, some pieces of information suggested that soon Nokia will introduce a new rugged smartphone. Reportedly, the new smartphone will be a successor to the Nokia XR20. The device was supposedly labeled Nokia XR30. However, in accordance with the report shared by WinFuture, the company will introduce the next device under the label Nokia XR21. Besides this significant detail, we have come across some more information about the specs of the forthcoming rugged phone.

Feature specifications of Nokia XR21

As per the reports, the Nokia XR21 will feature a 120Hz display. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 695 chipset. The smartphone will accompany a 4,800mAh battery. It will support 33W charging. The smartphone will weigh around 235 grams. This weight is contributed by the rugged case. Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and a headphone jack are the connectivity features of the Nokia XR21. Coming towards the display, the Nokia XR21 will feature a 6.49-inch LCD panel. It will be provided with FHD+ resolution. The Gorilla Glass Victus will protect the panel surface.

Camera details

On the front side, the Nokia XR21 will feature a 16MP selfie camera. while on the rear side, the smartphone will display a 64MP main camera with an Omnivision sensor. It will be accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide sensor. The device will offer 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The device has IP68 certification for water and dust resistance.

Nokia XR21 will come with Android 12. According to the company, the device will receive OS updates until May 2026. Whereas the security updates will be available for another year after that.
