Computers on US airports went down for two hours: Agency
Computers on immigration desk at various airports of the United States went down for about two hours on Monday, because of long lines for the people entering in the United States after year-end holidays.
According to the statement by the customs agency, the processing system went down at around 7:30 pm EST and the issue was resolved at 9:30 pm EST. Processing system on all airports was back online after the wait of two hours.

The people entering the United States have posted their images on different social media sites of long lines at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and John F. Kennedy International Airport.
“Operations returning to normal as @CustomsBorder computer issue resolved. The issue affected other US airports. Thanks for your patience,” Miami International Airport said in a Twitter post.
