Delta Emulator Beta Update Adds Online Multiplayer for Nintendo DS Games

Riley Testut, the developer behind the popular Delta Emulator for iPhones and iPads, has delivered on an exciting promise. Back in September 2024, he announced an upcoming online multiplayer feature for the emulator—and now, with the latest beta update, it’s here.

The AltStore team officially shared the news on social media platform X (formerly Twitter). The Delta Emulator v1.7b4 beta is now available to Patreon members via AltStore PAL and AltStore Classic. Check out the announcement here.

What’s New in Delta Emulator v1.7b4?

The standout addition in this beta update is the highly anticipated online multiplayer feature for Nintendo DS games. The team has also focused on making multiplayer setup as seamless as possible. Now, instead of manually adjusting DNS settings to connect to third-party WFC servers, you can simply select one of three pre-configured WFC servers directly within the Delta Emulator’s settings.

This thoughtful improvement ensures an easy and hassle-free experience for all users. According to the AltStore team:

“Online Multiplayer will be available for EVERYONE with Delta 1.7, so to make setup as easy as possible you no longer need to manually change the DNS to connect to 3rd Party WFC Servers. Just choose from 3 popular WFC servers in Delta’s settings and you’re good to go!”
