Like its predecessor, the Air 3S offers two cameras, but DJI has updated them in this model. The main camera gets a new 1-inch class sensor, which works with 48 megapixels and offers a maximum aperture size of F/1.8. The physical sensor resolution here should be 8064 × 6048 pixels. DJI speaks of a focal length equivalent of 24 millimeters.

The battery of the DJI Air 3s is still 4276mAh (62.5Wh) and should ensure a maximum flight time of up to 45 minutes. The drone can cover a distance of up to 32 kilometers and reach a speed of up to 21 meters per second. DJI specifies the maximum flight altitude as six kilometers. The company states the weight of the DJI Air 3s as 247 grams. It is not yet entirely clear what improvements are being made to the software.
