Elon Musk Says He Is Working More than 12 Hours a Day and 7 days a Week

Elon Musk is not only head of Tesla , SpaceX, Neuralink and The Boring Company, but also of Twitter for a good two weeks . However, his first days at the short message service were anything but harmonious and successful. There might be a reason for that.

Elon Musk basically works 24/7

These days, the political elite is meeting at the G-20 summit in Bali and there are also numerous side events on social and economic issues. Elon Musk also took part in a business conference on the sidelines of the meeting, the billionaire was connected via video (via Bloomberg).

The 51-year-old new head of Twitter said that he works “with the absolute maximum”, from “morning until night, seven days a week”. Musk also admits: “I have too much to do, that’s for sure.” The Tesla and Twitter boss, who also seemed visibly tired, went on to say that he could by no means recommend it.

Bizarre Performance?

Musk’s performance had something “bizarre” about it, as he himself said. Because the wealthiest person on the planet wore a colorful shirt that the organizers sent him. Partially lit in the ghostly red of his laptop display, he revealed he was sitting in an unpowered room with only candles.

Whether Musk did himself a favor with his appearance can certainly be doubted. Because the new Twitter owner and boss recently seemed as if he were no longer master of himself. Even fans of the businessman will have to admit that the way he took over Twitter was and is far from optimal and that Musk’s decisions seem erratic and ill-considered – not to mention his sometimes very strange tweets. However, chronic sleep deprivation seems to explain some (wrong) decisions.
