Emergency Update for Edge provides a Security fix for serious V8 bug

After the emergency update for Google Chrome, the update for Microsoft Edge is now available. The update is recommended for all users because it addresses an actively exploited vulnerability. The update for Edge fixes a very dangerous zero-day vulnerability that exists in the browser’s Chromium underpinnings. We had already mentioned the vulnerability. The latest Edge version is number 99.0.1150.55, the update should be installed as soon as possible. According to the description, it is an emergency update that fixes the vulnerability CVE-2022-1096.

So far, Microsoft has provided only a few details about the vulnerability and the update in general in the Edge update history It reads: “Microsoft has released the latest Microsoft Edge Stable Channel (version 99.0.1150.55) that integrates the latest security updates from the Chromium project.
