Facebook is Now a $1 Trillion Company

The world’s top social media platform, Facebook, is now a $1 trillion company. According to Yahoo Finance, the company’s market capital now reached $1.008 trillion.

Back in 2004, when Facebook took off from Harvard University with no future growth plans. But that accident led the company to continue its journey to reach a $1 trillion mark.

The new rolled out alongside the dismissal of the FTC’s case to close Facebook’s Instagram and WhatsApp acquisitions. The presiding federal judge ruled out that the FTC did not provide enough evidence to further pursue the case.

Although Facebook alone is one big platform, the company’s subsidies are no exception to the parent. We have Messenger, WhatsApp, Instagram, and Oculus.

Google, which was founded in 1998, is also a trillion-dollar company, with a market cap of 1.661T as of now.
