Few settings you need to alter for Camera Assistant

With the Camera Assistant app, Samsung deftly increased the camera capabilities of many of its Galaxy phones. Additional Camera Assistant features are included directly into the Camera app’s settings screen once the software is installed on your Galaxy handset. You may greatly personalize the Camera experience with some of these additional choices.

These are the first features we advise you to look into if you’ve never heard of or used Camera Assistant on your Galaxy phone. If you’re using this app on your phone, you should at the very least be aware of what they do because they have the ability to significantly alter the behavior of your Camera.

What you need to look in a camera assistant

Firstly, in case you require it, here is a direct link to the Camera Assistant app on the Galaxy Store. Assuming the app has been loaded on your Galaxy mobile, you may now launch the Camera Assistant app straight from the app store or launch the Camera app, select “Settings,” and then navigate to the “Camera Assistant” menu.

The first thing you should do with Camera Assistant is disable “Auto lens switching.” With this option, you may control the settings and stop the camera from selecting a lens based on factors like zoom, lighting, and subject distance.

You should look into the second Camera Assistant option, which is named “Prioritize focus over speed.” When activated, the camera will hold off on firing the shutter until it has finished focusing. Better pictures will come from this, however there will be a shutter delay.

If your phone is linked to speakers or headphones, you should try the third Camera Assistant option, “Audio monitoring.” You can monitor your audio in real time by using linked headphones or speakers to play back the sound that the Camera app is recording.

Currently limited to the Galaxy S24 series, the Audio monitoring capability will probably be available on more Samsung phones in the future with software updates to One UI 6.1 or Camera Assistant improvements.
