God of War Patch v1.0.12

This makes the PS4 title’s PC port only the third game to implement AMD’s temporal scaling technology, which is quite competitive with Nvidia’s DLSS 2.0; a circumstance that the editors had already noted critically in the test of AMD FSR 2.0. Nvidia is still way ahead of AMD in this regard.

The momentum has kind of stalled

Previously announced, though not specifically dated, AMD has announced FSR 2.0 support in the games Asterigos, Delysium, EVE Online, Forspoken, Grounded, Microsoft Flight Simulator, NiShuiHan, Perfect World Remake, Swordsman Remake, and Unknown 9: Awakening. Updates for games that have already been released are pretty non-existent so far, even though FSR 2.0 would be relatively easy to implement in games that also support DLSS 2.0. more on the topic

Technically, FSR 2.0 is convincing

The editors showed what AMD FSR 2.0 and FSR 1.0 and Nvidia DLSS 2.0 can do using the Deathloop example. AMD’s temporal upscaling was quite convincing in this comparison. Resolutions of FSR 2.0
