First information about the price of the graphics card has appeared

A good week before the graphics card was presented, the first information about the price was leaked. What this means for German buyers is still difficult to say. Nevertheless, interested parties will probably have to be prepared for a price increase.
First prices discovered at dealers
CES 2025 is getting closer and closer and with it the Nvidia keynote on January 6th. On this day, the first models of the company’s new Blackwell graphics cards will be presented. In addition to the absolute top GPU, the GeForce RTX 5090, the smaller heaviest, the RTX 5080, is also expected.
While the first information about prices for the flagship of the upcoming 50 series was available weeks ago, the RTX 5080 was more likely in this regard silent. Until now. The first information has now emerged from an online retailer from Australia that YouTuber Vex discussed in a video. This means that at least buyers down under will have to dig deeper into their pockets than for the previous model.
There are signs of a significant price increase
A GeForce RTX 5080 should cost 2,799 Australian dollars.
