For the OnePlus 12 camera system, OnePlus collaborated with the photography team of the Oppo Find series
The camera system of the upcoming OnePlus 12 was recently unveiled by the company’s president in China. According to Li Jie, it is going to be the best camera system on the smartphone market. He shared that the device comes with advanced hardware and software solutions that simply make it the best. According to reports, OnePlus has used the services of the imaging team of the Oppo Find series to update the hardware and software of the OnePlus 12.
The smartphone features three cameras on the back along with an advanced super-light and shadow imaging system. OnePlus also kept up its collaboration with Hasselblad in order to sustain its previous accomplishments. Li Jie believes the device is powerful enough to outperform its Pro-level flagship competition in the camera arena, all wrapped up in a single package.
From the camera hardware perspective, the company has used the new Sony LYT-808 sensor. It will be used with the primary camera. Additionally, there is an improved but expensive periscope telephoto camera unit that is reported to add quality to the output. The president didn’t reveal any information regarding the ultrawide lens however, we can expect improvements and upgrades here as well.
Furthermore, Li Jie highlighted the significance of computing processing for the camera system. According to him, relying on the small size and low light-capturing capacities of the optics is not enough. Besides the hardware modifications and upgrades, the upcoming flagship the OnePlus 12 include some significant software aspect as well.
The smartphone comes with the core algorithm of the Find series that will help with image processing. The phone also has an exclusive self-developed “Super Light and Shadow ProXDR Display” for its “Oriental Screen” in terms of display technology. In addition to its collaboration with Hasselblad, OnePlus has been collaborating with the Oppo Find series imaging team to enhance the OnePlus 12’s camera system.
