Four color variations of the Galaxy S24 are confirmed by official renders
Recently, we came across details regarding the expected launch date of the flagship Galaxy S24 series and now we have some information regarding the color variants of the standard Galaxy S24. The official renders indicate that the smartphone will come in four different color variants, including the gray, yellow, black, and purple options. Well, this information aligns with the previously reported platinum and green colors.
Notably, the design language of the upcoming Galaxy S24 is the same as the predecessor. It features a vertical triple-camera setup on the back. The front side features a flat display with flat sides. On the right side of the camera module, the LED flash assembly can be found. The screen has comparable bezels on all four sides and, according to reports, the thinnest lower bezel or chin of any Samsung handset.
The tipster Ice Universe recently shared details about the dimensions and weight of the Galaxy S24. According to the information, the device measures 70.6mm x 147mm x 7.6mm and weighs 168g. It features a 6.16-inch screen. Its 1.52 mm chin design, which is the same in width on all four sides, is noteworthy. To put things in perspective, the Xiaomi 14, which debuted in late October of this year, has a 1.71mm chin, weighs about 188g, and has a slightly larger 6.36-inch screen.
In addition to this, the standard Galaxy S24 has paid a visit to FCC certification as well. Reports suggest that the Galaxy S24 Ultra will be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip in all markets. Whereas the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ could arrive with the company’s in-house Exynos 2400 chip. According to reports, the Exynos 2400 has better performance as compared to the A17 Pro. It will be crucial to see if it eventually beats the A14 in terms of power efficiency, though.
Some other rumored specs of the upcoming Galaxy S24 include a triple camera setup consisting of 50MP, 12MP, and 10MP lenses. It will feature an FHD (1080p) display. The 3C certification from China indicates that the smartphone will pack a 4,000mAh battery with support for 25W charging. Compared to this, the Galaxy S24+ will feature a high-resolution QHD display. It will be powered by a 4,900mAh battery with 45W charging support.
