Galaxy A72 is the latest device to receive One UI 6.0 (Android 14) update

As we enter the third month of the year, Samsung enthusiasts are anxiously awaiting the release of the One UI 6.1 update on their gadgets. Samsung hasn’t finished updating all compatible phones and tablets with Android 14, One UI 6.0, yet.

The Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 are among the gadgets that haven’t yet received One UI 6.0 globally. This week saw the release of the update for the Galaxy A52 in additional markets, and it seems that the same is happening with the Galaxy A72.

In certain European and Middle Eastern nations, Android 14 for the Galaxy A72 has gone live. India is also witnessing its rollout. The update includes the January 2024 security patch and is based on firmware version A725FXXU6EXB3.

Numerous new features and enhancements are included in One UI 6.0 and Android 14, such as a redesigned Quick Panel, an improved airplane mode, new watermark options in the camera app, two-handed drag and drop of media and other data in various apps, improved photo and video editing tools, Auto Blocker to protect against unknown apps over a USB connection, and more.

Open the Settings app on your phone, choose Software update, then pick Download and install to download it over the air. You can get the necessary firmware from our collection and use a Windows computer to manually install the upgrade if you would prefer.

The Galaxy A72’s eligibility for OS and feature updates may cease before it receives One UI 6.1, although Android 14 will be the device’s last significant update. In the upcoming weeks, keep an eye out for more details and updates regarding One UI 6.1.
