Galaxy Book 4 laptops might launch in India in February

It appears that Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy Book 4 laptop line in India. Online rumours citing local media sources indicate that pre-orders for the Galaxy Book 4 lineup will probably open in the upcoming weeks.

Samsung has not released an official statement regarding the topic, but the most recent rumor has it that the Galaxy Book 4 laptops will be on pre-order in the middle of February, with sales beginning later this month.

Prospective Indian customers may have to wait longer for the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra edition to go on sale, according to the same report via Hans India. Perhaps just the Book 4 Pro and Pro 360 will make their debut in the middle of February; the Ultra model will come later a date that wasn’t specified.

What are the prices in different markets for the Galaxy Book 4 series?

Nothing new has been revealed regarding the potential price of the Galaxy Book 4 laptops in India. On the other hand, prices for Korea have long been known since Samsung first revealed the Galaxy Book 4 Pro, Book 4 Pro 360, and Book 4 Ultra in mid-December.

For comparison, the starting price of the Galaxy Book 4 Pro in Korea is 1.88 million won ($1,412). With a 360-degree hinge and a 2-in-1 design, the Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360 costs $2.59 ($1,946) million won and above. And depending on specs, the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra costs 3.36 million won ($2,524) or more. This is the price that these potent laptops cost in Korea; prices in India may vary. Which hardware variants will be offered in India when the Galaxy Book 4 series is released online, meanwhile, is still up in the air.

The 120Hz touchscreens on the Galaxy Book 4 Pro and Pro 360 have a brightness of 400 nits and a color volume coverage of 120% DCI-P3. They are available with an Intel Core Ultra 5 or Ultra 7 CPU and Intel Arc graphics in Korea. The sole model that comes with an Intel Core Ultra 9 configuration, up to 64GB of RAM, and a choice between GeForce RTX 4050 and RTX 4070 graphics chips is the top-of-the-line Galaxy Book 4 Ultra.
